The little girl looked up with wide eyes. "You're letting me play with fire? thank you! Ill try! " So saying marquain ran over to where the coal was kept and carefully drew out a shovelful. Walking towards the fire, slowly she could feel the extreme heat and it started to hurt her a bit but she knew she had to do a good job! She had to! She stuck the shovel as far out in front of her as she dared and her hands wobbled most of it went in but a few coals scuttled to the ground. Quickly shebent down to pick them up and threw them in after. "Sorry, I thought I could do it..." she told her mother ashamed.

It's ok try it this way * gets a shovel full of coal and goes to the side of the oven so the heat will not burn and tosses the coal inside*
